The self-proclaimed champions of free speech like CNN, New York Times, The Washington Post etc, who never miss an opportunity to preach the virtues of press freedom to the rest of the world, have been exposed once again. A glaring example is the disgraceful treatment of journalist Sam Husseini, who dared to ask tough questions to U.S. Secretary of State Blinken.
His Courage to challenge the narrative led to him being physically thrown out by guards—a blatant violation of the very principles they claim to uphold.

It will be telling to see how outlets / Journos like Sabrina Siddiqui of The Wall Street Journal and Suhasini Haider of The Hindu — often quick to amplify the sanctimonious lectures of the “Big Brother” on issues like Kashmir or the farmers’ protests in India—cover this incident. Will they remain conveniently silent, or will they expose the hypocrisy of those who muzzle dissent while masquerading as defenders of democratic values? The double standards on display are impossible to ignore and demand unflinching scrutiny.
