The Reporters’ Collective, often masquerading as an “independent investigative ” journalists group, is primarily funded by the Independent and Public-Spirited Media Foundation ( IPSMF ) – a name that frequently appears behind left-leaning, anti-establishment platforms. Interestingly, IPSMF’s funding network also extends to controversial groups like Alt News and The Wire, both known for their anti-Right bias.
The balance sheet of Alt News, clearly lists IPSMF as a financial backer. This deep nexus raises serious concerns about the so-called neutrality of these media organizations.
A glance at IPSMF’s donor list reveals a heavy influx of funds from left-leaning entities, reinforcing the suspicion that this isn’t an “independent” media foundation but rather a well-oiled machinery pushing a particular ideological narrative.
The IPSMF has a controversial history, having been raided by the Income Tax Department in September 2022 over allegations of receiving foreign offshore funding, particularly from sources linked to George Soros, a known financier of anti-India agendas. ( The Income Tax raids on IPSMF and CPR are a clear warning to the Soros cartel )
