For weeks now, the opposition ecosystem has been aggressively pushing the narrative of “Vote Chori.” But a deeper look reveals how this campaign is not an organic outcry of concerned citizens, but rather a coordinated effort powered by familiar anti-Modi patrons and media proxies.
1. Ravish Kumar & Reporters’ Collective (RC)
On social media, Ravish Kumar himself has openly appealed for citizens to “support RC,” hailing them as investigative journalists. What is RC’s big project? None other than “The Electoral Roll Project”—a dedicated initiative to fuel allegations of voter manipulation.

2. RC’s Funding Trail: IPSMF
RC proudly discloses its funding from Independent and Public-Spirited Media Foundation (IPSMF), a Bengaluru-based entity floated in 2015. IPSMF claims independence but its donor list exposes the ideological leanings driving its grantees.

Among IPSMF’s funders: Cyrus Guzder — a known anti-Modi Industrialist/activist

3. Cyrus Guzder – A Known Modi Critic
Cyrus Guzder stands out. His record shows:
- Consistent attacks on Modi over Gujarat riots.
- Open statements painting India as targeting Muslims’ economic base.
- Support for Teesta Setalvad’s activism.
- Co-applicant in the Supreme Court petition against the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, alongside Anu Aga, Shyam Benegal, Aparna Sen, and Teesta Setalvad.

ThePrint even recorded IB red-flags that Guzder and associates had been known to fund The Wire, another anti-government platform.
4. IPSMF & RC – The Soros Style Model
The IPSMF model is simple: wealthy patrons with ideological agendas pool funds, which are then channeled into digital outfits like Reporters’ Collective, Ground Report, The Migration Story, Telugu Post. These platforms then produce conveniently timed “investigations” that serve opposition narratives.
5. Cover Fire for Rahul Gandhi’s “Vote Chori” Campaign
With RC dedicating an entire project to electoral rolls, Ravish Kumar amplifying their reports, and IPSMF funders’ known record of opposing Modi & Hindu causes, the picture is clear. This is not journalism—it is political warfare by proxy.
And it is timed perfectly to provide cover fire to Rahul Gandhi’s #VoteChori campaign and undermine trust in India’s electoral process.

6. MediaExpose’s Prior Warning
On 31st January 2025, MediaExpose had already flagged RC’s dubious connections in detail. Today, with fresh evidence linking Ravish’s support, IPSMF’s anti-Modi donors, and Guzder’s anti-Ram Mandir history, the entire architecture of the “Vote Chori” conspiracy stands exposed.
