From bootlicking to blatant lies, they’ve redefined journalism as an art of spin, silence, and servitude. Bravo!
1) Lokmat Group newspaper prints and tweets fake news saying RENEW Group to move its solar panel project from Maharashtra to Gujarat, precariously just before Maharashtra Elections.
Even after clarification by RENEW Power, neither the news or the tweet was withdrawn.
2) News 24 channel broadcasted and amplified the fake news video tweeted by NCP-SP leader during Maharashtra Elections.
The only issue was the video was 3 years old.
But facts don’t matter for #PappuMedia
3) Aaj Tak tweeted and posted a video saying building a bridge cost 42 crore in Gujarat & now demolition will cost 52 cr.
Even after fact checked by Home Minister of Gujarat Harsh Sanghavi, the tweet, video and story still remains.
It seems Habitual Fake News Peddler Rajdeep Sardesai is handling training of journos over there.
4) Mid-day carried out a fake news story on how phone opens an EVM.
They withdrew the story and issued a microscopic clarification after action by Election Commission.
5) Another #DarbariMedia outlet Live Mint carried a story saying In Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast case, NIA detains BJP worker Sai Prasad.
Even after NIA clarification, the story still remains.
The devotion towards a particular party and / or family remains unmatched.
6) Deccan Herald in an article said that “Consensus prevailed on Loksabha Speaker’s choice since Independence”
The reality is that election for LokSabha speaker were held in 1952 and also in 1976.
Even after fact-corrected by many people, the article still remains.
7) Indian Express confidently reported that a street vendor near Kamla Market was booked for encroachment as the first case under new penal code BNS.
The fake news was caught when police tweeted a clarification that no one was booked.
8) The NewsMinute ran a fake news saying VVPATs print extra slip with BJP lotus symbol during mock polls in Kerala.
The fake news is still live even after police action on outlets spreading fake news.
9) Preeti Choudhry aka #LadyRajdeep of India Today blatantly lied on national television that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee signed the First Amendment, but he actually opposed it fiercely!
The show and tweets still remain on social media even after fact-checks with proofs.

10) PTI & many other outlets carried a #FakeNews story that LoP aka Leader of Protest, Rahul Gandhi spoke to Kamala Harris after her defeat to President-Elect Donald Trump.
Office of Vice-President Kamala Harris confirmed that no such call has taken place.
On a lighter note, it can be called as “Kamala ka Hamla”
